Here at Springfield, we value our team. They are what makes us, well… us! They are the heart of the company and the people you get to communicate with on a daily basis.
There is a real team spirit and friendly atmosphere here, which we believe shows. Out of the 13 office staff we have here at Springfield, 7 of them have been here for 10 years or more. (John Coldrick, Roland Coldrick, Kim McDermott, Alastair Leflaive, Lloyd Hamilton, Dave Huntley and Robbie Sidaway, as well as Pawel Mamel, our Warehouse Manager.)
As we are celebrating our 40th Birthday, we thought now would be a good time to recognise those who have worked here for over a decade!
Here’s what they have to say about working at Springfield:
“Springfield have certainly come a long way since I started with the company in 2005. With steady growth based on a commitment to high level customer service, it’s a pleasure to still be a part of the team here. I am certainly looking forward to an interesting journey ahead!” – Lloyd Hamilton
“I can say from my experience, Springfield has delivered consistently every year” – Dave Huntley
“Lots of memories, but Springfield have always been consistent in quality and customer care, it’s the one thing that was drummed into me when I joined, many years ago!!” – Kim McDermott
“It’s been great to see how the business has evolved over the past 20 years thanks to the dedication of our loyal staff. The move from central Bristol to our new premises in 2010 stands out as a real game changer and now our brand new offices really facilitate and promote our team spirit.” – Roland Coldrick
“The partners have always had commitment to give the customer the best possible experience, and over the time i’ve been here, i’ve witnessed notable changes as the Springfield team strive for continuous improvement to push the bar even higher:
New larger premises and vehicles.
New computer systems.
New staff.
New products and services.
New branding and website including on-line ordering.
It will be very interesting to see what Springifeld will look like in another 10 years’ time.” Robbie Sidaway
“Looking back at Springfield’s journey over the past 20 years I am very grateful to the loyal staff who have travelled with us. They have shared the bumps and bends in the road, the detours, the fast straight runs and the slow twisting lanes. We have enjoyed exhilarating views from the hills of the destination to which we are heading. We have together come a long way but it is the distance still to travel that keeps us motivated and excited. Who knows what is around the next bend?” John Coldrick
