Secure shredding solutions
Springfield Papers has a solution to suit any business. Large or small, and whatever your requirements, we have a shredding option for you.
If you’re a business, school, or council organisation, we can provide a confidential waste bin for scheduled pickups — to work within your busy timetable. You also won’t have to sign any contracts binding you to us. We’ll provide a certificate of destruction if required, however.
Multi-branch organisations will have access to all the above, along with a dedicated service manager. Your friendly service manager will be your single point of contact to see you through the process. By using our services, whatever your business or workplace, you will be fully GDPR compliant.
How it works
Our paper shredding process is audited externally, so we can provide a comprehensive service of the highest standard possible.
You’ll be safe in the knowledge that your documents are in reputable hands. What does the service entail?
- Documents are transported in a locked, tracked vehicle to a secure holding area.
- The documents are taken to the shredder, where they’re checked for contaminants.
- Documents are shredded in the machine to a regulated size and transported to the mill to be pulped.
- Your documents are then turned into sheets of recycled paper where they can be reused – a complete closed-loop solution that is as efficient as it is kind to the environment.
Bespoke options
One-off or scheduled, we offer bespoke, energy-efficient and legally compliant shredding packages.
Our first option is a one-off confidential collection. We offer containers of varying sizes, from 20kg sacks, 120l and 240l large wheelie bins, to a 500kg flexi crate to transport documents for bulk shredding.
The second option is a scheduled collection – weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. We provide you with a 25kg lockable crate. Deposit your confidential records, contracts, and other documents into the sack inside and it will be collected by one of our trustworthy drivers for shredding. The console comes in different colours (white, beech, and light grey) to suit your office.

With our mobile shredding service...
we shred all paper (including personal documents, manilla files and more) as well as paper clips and even staples. We don’t shred plastic document wallets, glass, or lever arch files.

Our fleet of delivery drivers go above and beyond to offer the best service they can – wherever their destination is. Our drivers are also DBS-vetted and security-checked to fully meet the requirements of BS 7858: 2012.
Our drivers are also required to sign a confidentiality agreement to give you peace of mind that your documents are protected. The vehicles they drive are also tracked to further put your mind at ease.
